TennisPAL is a social networking app for iOS and Android that connects tennis players from around the globe to play a match anywhere, any time. Through the app, users can find local coaches and playing partners of similar levels, coordinate matches, learn tips, and share experiences.
What the client wanted:
The client wanted to increase a sense of community and promote the flex leagues offered by the organization.
What we did:
We planned the entire event from start to finish, beginning with scouting the venue. We found a perfect location in West 4th & Jane, a lively restaurant/pub near the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica.
We negotiated the rental agreement as well as an excellent food and beverage arrangement for the upstairs section of the venue, which boasted television screens ideal for a viewing of the Australian Open finals.
Additionally, we coordinated and emceed the drawing of a raffle and hosted signups for the TennisPAL flex leagues. The meetup was highly successful, connecting the community and promoting further involvement in TennisPAL opportunities.
