Search engine optimization (SEO) is a vital aspect of a website. It’s what will help your site rank higher in search engines and generate more traffic for your business. Figuring out which keywords will boost your site can sometimes be tricky, these tools can help pinpoint each word and phrase that your site needs the most.
Google Analytics
This tool is provided by Google and it’s free. It measures all of the data related to your website like page views, bounce rates, conversions, and more. Under Search Console, Google Analytics can show you what keywords users searched for to end up at your site.
SEMRush
This tool is considered a leader in the industry because it gives you access to strategies and insights for SEO. It has a keyword tracker that can tell you what keywords your competitors are targeting, giving you ideas of what terms might be good to target as well or avoid. SEMRush can help you estimate how much money you’re spending on paid advertising so you know if there’s any room left for growth with organic search or not.
Google Trends
Another free tool from Google is Google Trends. This one lets you see which topics have been searched more often over time and where people are searching from around the world. When looking at trends related to specific products or services, it also shows how many results come up when using different keywords instead of just broad searches, giving you insight into specific terms and phrases.
UberSuggest
